The Blue House
(new and remodel construction)
Alexi completed or supervised completion of all of the work here, from the bare framing to the finishing touches of the beautiful Blue House! Michael LaBash (who also designed this web site) designed the custom kitchen and bathroom tiles, and kitchen pendant lamp shades.

The Purple House bathroom
(remodel)
Alexi replaced the tub, sink, floor and all of the wall tile, and painted. Michael LaBash hand-painted the detail tiles. The job also involved a custom shower-curtain rod set-up.

Stefan’s Bathroom
(remodel)
Alexi replaced the tub, sink and countertop, floor and wall tile, and did all of the painting. He also installed a Solatube to bring natural light into the bathroom. This bathroom also features a heated towel-bar, and spa unit which Alexi installed.

Stefan’s Guest Bathroom
(new)
Alexi transformed a corner of Stefan's laundry room into a totally new half-bathroom, bringing in water and drain lines, and installing new ducting for a vent fan. He also created a window frame to hold a piece of Stefan's stained glass.

Stefan’s Kitchen
(remodel)
Alexi basically remodeled the kitchen entirely. Aside from the granite and cabinetry, Alexi did all of the remodel construction, installing a new window, new bamboo flooring, and applying American Clay plaster and Green Planet clay paint to the walls and trim. Alexi installed all of the new appliances. The kitchen was designed by Lori Pepe-Lunche.

Stefan’s Dining Room

Here, Alexi repaired water damage to the ceiling, and then repainted the whole room, including cabinetry, using American Clay plaster, Green Planet clay paint, and Zero-VOC paint.

Bill & Cynthia's Deck
(new)
Alexi built this deck out of redwood, Evergrain composite decking, and galvanized steel fencing.

The Purple House gate
(new)
Alexi demolished an existing concrete/stucco archway, repaired the wall of the house, and then installed new gate supports, and built a 10-foot high double gate out of rough redwood. He also hand-made an Ipe tropical hardwood handle for the gate.

Marvin's Bathroom Floor
(new)
Alexi replaced a vinyl/particle board floor with porcelain floor tile and handmade Mexican insert tiles.

Lois's Bathroom
(remodel)
Alexi removed and replaced the existing wall and floor tile, sink, medicine cabinet, toilet, vent fan, and tub/shower plumbing with all new tile and fixtures. In addition, Alexi moved the electrical for the vanity lights, painted and added new knobs to existing cabinetry, new towel bars and rings, and a new oak threshold.
